Broken Hearts

little by little, as far as you can go
much further than you know
unable to escape:
undeniable grey that infects
seeps into the human fabric
stains too deep to wash away

however small you feel
a diminishing light within
so easy to:
withdraw into sighs
fail and dismiss the dark
with faltering hands

we, the broken hearts
made small and wretched
turne…

the evening calls...

here is a moment
a forever piece of time
one of those here and now
come and get it revelations
you feel it coming
desire the uphill slide
into its immensity
its expandable energy

the radiation
from its hypersphere of influence
just decimates your flesh
and how could you not succumb?
become nothing more than a
spiraling spark of ash
once its fire has expelled you
into the beautiful
evening abyss...

The Prison of Celebrity

The window was open, allowing occasional gusts of pollen laden air to swirl into the room. A great green field flowed across the landscape, dotted here and there with wild patches of dandelions, a random dogwood or oak.

All morning she had watched the world come alive. Early, the singing birds warmed up the dewy sky, only to be followed by the searing fingers of dawn light creeping gently over the wet flesh of the earth. Sitting there, in a high-backed wooden chair, she…

(Ir)Reality TV

They woke us up too early in the morning. The breeze off the pacific was hot and within minutes our tactfully semi-nude bodies were slimy with sweat and dirt.

Without any conversation, as we had used up all the interesting bull that people throw at each other during first encounters, we cleaned up camp, boiled water and swallowed our rationed moldy rice.

The cameras followed us onto the raft and as we were led out to sea, a few people discussing what our challeng…

Bleached Beauty (bizarro fiction)

Whenever I dye my hair I make sure not to buy the cheap stuff. But because I’m a broke bitch I don’t typically buy the most expensive dye either. Something in the middle.

I buy it at my local big box retailer. The dye itself comes in a small box. I take it home to my medium box apartment. The bathroom is a tiny box.

I always have to read the directions. Even though I’ve dyed my hair numerous times. After sniffing each separate bottle and remembering that dye chem…

Thanks for the comment on the Blues Man, They part you questioned has been questioned a lot, it seems almost out of character, but I suppose if someone is allergic to something, they would know the anaphlyactic part, the rhizosomes may be a bit too far. Thanks again, I have some bizarro things you may enjoy, in time I will post more of them here.

Hi. Thanks for your comment on Coveting Dr lester Pt 2 - I don't think I've posted part 1 on here yet; I was in a rush and hoping to intrigue with the 'hey, there's a part one to this' angle. Wrong of me. I'll post it now.
Thanks again. Glad you liked it.
