Boyd Johnson lives and works on the shores of the hudson river. He likes cliff jumping and colossal expectations. Boyd writes almost poems and the occasional short story. He decorates his home with collection notices, rejection letters from fine literary journals, and Husker Du Lp's.

He is also responsible for a zine that takes way to long to do everything, if anything.

The Price of Steel is Down.

So Midge and I, had gone to Mahoney's, a bar I always detested. I had entered one night, fully prepared to celebrate the acceptance of two of my poems into an unknown, non-paying, literary entity. I walked through the front door, to realize my cap had been removed; turned about face, and saw it resting in the hands of a bouncer, who looked as though he enjoyed sharing tales of bouncing with other bouncers. Needless to say, I retrieved my cap, made small talk, and left.

there was a tomato plant
on the porch at her mothers house.

first time i ever saw it,

thing was dead

starting
to
rot.

it was there
for weeks.
