Bio: My amorous love affair with verbiage has been sort of on again, off again, but for the most part, the most intense affinity I have ever known. I am pleased to say that I am committed for life.

I appreciate all art, music and poetry, the spoken word, performance poetry, generally any medium that is unique and expressive. The world is too dark and lonely a place to exist without an adequate means of release - I for one would turn into a raging freakophile had I not found one or more creative ways of doing so.

Genres: Free verse and prose, mostly. Out of the box - if i feel it, i write it. If its a genre, its a genre. I have experimented with structured poetry a bit to expand my horizons, and some people have labeled me a neo - classicist - but I tend to shy away from labels and simply try to create an extra - sensory and surreal experience for my readers, using whatever means "tappable" at the moment. I deal best in lingering impressionism, the intangible grey areas of the heart and mind...

Powder Blue Deathwish

Soaking up the sun spat

causes me to grimace

and the resentful creases

in an embittered brow

contract, contort and petrify

like solidified magma;

Thoughts assault

like a mad rapist

violating the deep of my mind,

the safe haven,

the white room...

This powder blue deathwish

chants satire in nursery rhyme time

a sing -song in mockery,

on a jump rope playground;

and I, humbled, stand

Aloof

Upon some frozen summit
waiting,
teetering,
fearing the plummet into superficiality...
the icy air slices my cheeks
gripping them,
tearing them,
searing them with dark december wind shear;
clouds in still life hover
indifferently,
their thick and heavy billows
veiling from me anything remotely
infrared or golden.
