Say Hello

Added a reply May. 16, 2008

I think people have different motivations, and a different sense of success and the path to get there. Some people love the idea of being a great poet more than the idea of working hard at it. May... Read More »

Say Hello

Hi. I joined a while ago but somehow lost track of things in many places. I guess I am not exactly sure what I am looking for. Maybe a forum where people go beyond the "me, me, me" thing? Not to s... Read More »

Too Much Caffeine

I'm an insomniac, but haven't won a lot of prizes. I did win a prize for an oatmeal cookie recipe once but I really hope that did not constitute my "fifteen minutes". I try to get in here once in a while, and read through some of the writing and discussion but lately I have been pretty overextended.

I work in the non-profit sector, blah blah blah, write poems and work on collages and mail art. If there's something you want to know, ask me. E mail me. Whatever works. llalexander@ymail.com.

You can also swing by my guest book *here* and say hello. If you are on MySpace, you can befriend me *here*

I'm born in Plainview, just a little south and west of your hometown I suppose. And you are right, we don't consider much consider Native Americans, unless talking about the Trail of Tears or Wounded Knee.

Sorry about the typos! Nearly a year will pass since I have written my last piece and there has been a lot of positive input from EditRed. I would like more stuff published and there is always time to get up to speed again. I am thinking of writing at least a piece a month

Hi Lynn,

Just would like to say hi! Its great writing after a brief break. A lot of my time is spent in toxicology and and more than a few times I love to write scribbles here and there. A lot of my work doesn't appear that much in the public domain. I use to post a lot on Edit Red and a lot of people kinda digged my work, but now im a bit rusty and need to reminate ideas before I commit to paper.

How are you and what do you write about.

Hi, Lynn. The pleasure is mine. I liked your posting about reading poetry, and I couldn't agree more. I am struggling to find the time for reading as well as writing, at the moment, but I do try. I do. Don't you, too?
