At 1:35am on August 2nd, 2008, chimmy chimmy coco puffs said…: Cannon Beach - have been. Have read poetry in that town way back in 1989, in a coffee joint that must be long ago vanquished. Never been to that eatery. We were close-by last June. We spent the night in Astroia after a week in Portland (were i was born & spent many years living, reading, loving it) before we migrated down to my folks ranch about a mile from the ocean outside of Coos Bay. We actually had to wear hats & sweaters in June, which was a nice change to our living in the sweatlands of the South. Lately, between this Week-o-Storms, our heat Index has been past 110. Ouch! Hope you're cooler up in Newhart City.

Are you from there or just a lover as in a visitor? I ask because I'm from the coast - the south coast, around Coos Bay.
