What Do You Want From A Review?

Added a post Sep. 12, 2008

A Balanced Pendulum Swings Left Again

There is a beautiful tock that clicks in the left-hand corner of my left ear,

and it speaks poignant ticks like a good grandfather should. It is wise

and inert. It has a face. Why

Troy, aren't you just the cat's meow? I can't tell you how nice it was to read your lovely comment this morning. I've hit a writing snag, as I am want to do every couple years, but I move in waves so no worries. Can I use that "Carnal College of Common Knowledge" in a poem?

Much love and happy thoughts in your general direction,
Valeroni

I have always struggled with time, to the point where I have often given up sleep to read at night which is bad. I find that somehow I cram reading now into odd places in the day, but I don't have the luxury of reading in large blocks like I prefer. I read while I wait for things!

What I miss because of time are live readings, and performances- I just can't make it out to things like that for long periods of time.

I think that there needs to be some humility, a willingness to work hard but to also be open to some process of evolution. Seems arrogant to create in a vacuum.
