No worries. And yeah, only 3 mistakes is amazing. I fucked up the first 3 versions of my Lulu book, had to keep re-doing & buying copies. Perfectionism is expensive haha.

Hey there. Left you a review on Lulu, sorry it took so long. Not sure whether you're a Grammar Nazi like me [I've had to change my Lulu book 3 times after spotting elusive typos] but I found:

pg. 7
it's = its
goodbye's [if plural] = goodbyes?

pg. 13 Christs = Christ's?

No biggies.

Your book came today. I'm waiting for work to finish so I can release it from the cardboard packaging...
[not supposed to be erotic or anything, but weirdly looks like I was trying to be haha]

My turn to wait patiently now; just bought it

Heh heh, yeah sorry 'bout that.
Is the overall theme a critical examination of religion in society, or have I read the book description wrong/got it confused with something else?

Lol, good question. Because I'm a tease...
Nah, just waiting for rent and bills to come out of my bank account and then will be free to continue my merry consumerism.

Thank you, Wendy.

I like the language in your poem 8 Doors to Infinite Wisdom (God Knocked Over the Petri Dish).

Thanks for your honesty in evaluating my poem about sweetness and a first kiss. I need those constructive criticisms to make each poem a better poem. I will be editing directly. Say "hi" to the guys.

I am not sure if I thanked your or not, but thank you for your review of "confession for the forgotten years...". I like your observation of the piece, and I think I know what you were getting at. That piece took me a lot of time, although it would not seem it. And I am happy you found it easy to read! That was also my goal, for it coincided with my theme. Again, thank you! I appreciate you letting me know that I got my message across.

my criticism may be inexact but they are my unfortunate thoughts. I still think your writing differently.

Your line breaks have moved one decimal point. The autobiographical material is consistent with most posts although I see you shifting away from more personal phrases to more experimental non grounded word groupings... For example in "unified Field Theory" You are bringing an extremely abstract scientific discipline to bear on horrible crimes against humanity. Very ambitious and rather alien in form to many of your older posts. I have not read all of your posts, rather, randomly sampled a few from a chronological standpoint. I find the departure a positive development and strongly encourage more experimentation.

You didn't realize that your recent work is fundamentally different than previous posts?

I'm really sorry about your brother. Hope he's okay. What a mess! I hate hurricane season. Keep us posted on his progress. Fingers ARE crossed. We all feel bad down here. Wish the damn thing would have just crashed into some depopulated region of Mexico, harming no one. After being victims, we hate seeing what has happened to us befall anyone else. Sure, there's the relief, but then the dread. Hope you're well.

Hey, Wendy. How is everything? I'm hoping to send you and Paul a couple of books. One is a book of poetry by one of my favorite poets, and the other is about the craft of writing poetry by one of my other favorite poets.

Can you send me a private message with your mailing address, so I can send them?

It was nice to meet you. I wish you and Paul and the boys the best.

Thanks. It's wonderful to be home. Still eyeballing the weatherchannel, keeping an eye on Ike.

Did you get any of Hanna dumped on you? Didn't it bring bad weather all across the state?

Hope all is well. Happy trails.
